One can maintain a clean and clear skin by regulating
one's habits. It is inner strength and beauty which gets
reflected through th luster of our skin. A complete and
nutritional diet which includes essential vitamins and
minerals will help to keep your skin soft and smooth.
Though there is no direct relation between our diet and
outgrowth of pimples but eating a balanced diet with very
little oily food will keep us fit and prevent pimples.
Have fibrous fruits daily. Three to four servings a day are
recommended. Consumption of root vegetables are very
important in skin treatment. Do include them in your lunch
or dinner. Vitamins like A & C are known antioxidants
and help in preventing cancer.
Have a sound sleep of at least eight hours everynight is
very important. If you don't get enough sleep then a catnap
of even 30 minutes during the day is a great help. Remember
to drink a lot of water. Six to eight glasses of water are
recommended. Water helps to flush out toxins.
Exercise for at least thirty minutes everyday. It will
improve blood circulation and overall physical and mental
health.
Taking a shower immediately after heavy exercise helps us
to clean up and tone the skin.
Remember to wash the face before going to sleep. Washing
helps remove stale make up.
These are the most simple efforts you can take for keeping
your skin healthy and clearer.
