Three Steps to Get Rid Of Acne

In adulthood, plenty of oil produces in the skin glands due to increase of hormone and when it mixes with the dead cells, it traps bacteria and clogs pores in the skin which results in raise of tissue area due to swelling, redness and pus and creates bumps in the skin which is popularly known as “pimples”. These symptoms are commonly associated with acne. For types of acne, we can come across with different types :

Acne can occur anywhere including face, neck, back or on the chest and severe cases may even lead to physical scars and social alienation. Although acne can not be totally prevented, there are three steps to minimize the impact.

Cleanse your skin:

With lukewarm water wash your skin gently. Don't wash it too often.

Hard scrubbing should be avoided or else it may make worse your acne. It will be more fruitful if you use water-based skin care soap such as Neutrogena or Dove rather than the skin and hair products that contain more oil. Apply topical ointment at leastonce in a day but it should not be in excess. You can apply nonprescription topical ointment to problematic areas.

Due to containing benzoyl peroxide and salicylic in clearasil, this product is regarded as best. Salicylic acid helps clear up blemishes by causing the top layer of skin to peel. Benzoyl peroxide works on unclogged pores. The products which contain tea tree oil, which is generally founded in gels, creams and lotions or alpha-hydroxy acid also desirable. But it should be used less than three times a day unless it was directed by a doctor otherwise it may do more harm than good.

Avoid the following:
There are some processes which should be avoided to get free from acne and they can help stop the flare-up of acne. These acts include:

Try to protect yourself from sunshine, over exposure to sun will be the main cause for acne.
Avoid tight-fitting clothes that rub against the skin.
Do not touch your face constantly.

Excess stress or sweating is also harmful for the skin.
Avoid hair hanging on your face.
Avoid using the products which contain more oil.
Squeezing pimples may result in infection and may create scaring, so avoid it.
Most of people will outgrow acne by their early-twenties, so there is every chance to be optimistic. If the above steps can be a part of your daily routine, you may able to control your acne.
But persons suffering from severe acne should consult dermatologists.
